The Caledonian Philatelic Society

Minutes of meeting 2136 held on Thursday 14th December 2000, Room327, John Anderson Building, University of Strathclyde.

In the absence of The President (in Holland on business) the Senior Vice-President, [CENSORED: forename][CENSORED: surname] opened the meeting by welcoming those present. He especially welcomed all visitors – members’ spouses and partners and [CENSORED: forename][CENSORED: surname].

President’s Intimations: Nothing to report

Secretary: Auction lots were still required, the Tea and Barrier Rotas for the new year were circulated and the date for the Social Evening, 2nd March. was announced.

Treasurer: Absent

Packet Secretary: The PS asked that members be much more vigilant regarding their accounting!

Vote of Thanks: Since he hadn’t shown anything the honour of giving the vote of thanks fell to The Senior Vice-President. He warmly congratulated everyone who had shown for giving the others such an interesting evening. The diversity of subjects was amazing.
