Text

Dear Mum, Dad, & Al,
Quebec is a wonderful city: it's like everything I thought France might be: shambly streets, street musicians, punk accordianists in red suede shoes singing incomprehensible songs on the boardwalk overlooking the St Lawrence seaway, open air theatre, open air restaurants with gawdy umbrellas, little food nooks called Chez Rabelais, le jazz chaud in restaurants of a balmy summer eve, avant garde legions of Quebeckers in striped shirts & minis.
