should be glad to doe any thing that might
either ſerve or be agreable to you, but
as to ye affair of my agency in Scottland
if you will be ſo good to reflect, you will
be perſwaded that it is of the laſt Conſequence
to my private affairs, not only to
imploy thoſe of Knowledge & Experience
but alſo ſuch as have been ſome time
acquainted with them, this is the only
reaſon that I doe not comply with your
request for I am
