The active phase of the SCOTS project has now finished, and the team are working on a new Corpus of Modern Scottish Writing which will be made freely available online in due course. However, we hope to continue adding texts to SCOTS, depending on our resources and on contributions made. We are particularly interested in Scots or Scottish English texts, but we warmly welcome texts from other language communities. Texts can be of any type, e.g. short stories, articles, letters, emails, taped dialogue, poems, in fact any kind of speech or writing. Contributions can be submitted to the project in any format (electronic, paper copy, audio/video tapes, etc.).
